“CELEBRATE the Season; We are HERE 4 a REASON!”

Announcing the inaugural “Light Up The Night” 5k run/walk, sponsored by Here 4 a Reason Foundation, to take place on the grounds of Connie Maxwell Children’s Home in Greenwood, SC, on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. All levels of runners/walkers are encouraged to participate and prizes will be awarded for winners.

CORPORATE TEAMS, SCHOOL TEAMS, and YOUTH GROUPS are WELCOMED!

We will be shining a light on mental health and suicide prevention and this event will take place in the evening so plan to help us by showing up and shining YOUR light! The finish line will be under the “tunnel” of lights at Connie Mac!

ALL proceeds will be distributed as follows: 50% to Connie Maxwell Children’s Home and 25% to Greenwood Cancer Fund.

For the safety of all of our participants, please leave pets (other than registered service animals) at home.

Join us on Saturday, October 26th for our annual 5K run/walk (8:30 a.m., Greenwood Genetic Center - 106 Gregor Mendel Circle)! All levels of runners/walkers are encouraged to participate and prizes will be awarded to winners. Race t-shirts and swag bags guaranteed for those registered by September 12th.
